The ship has sailed

What did I say, what did I do?
I’m so broken because of you
These tears I cry I cannot show
I can but watch the memories grow.

We seemed so close with but a song
Now it’s all silent for oh so long
I wish you could see this pain inside
I wish with you I could confide.

But my hopes are drowned,
My thoughts uncrowned
Don’t hate me too long
I know I got it all wrong.

Talk to me and we’ll sort it out
I don’t care what it’s all about
I won’t turn and shout
I just want to end this bout

You can hurt me,
Hate me and neglect me
But I’ll still be your friend
In the end…

i was going to have this as friendshi* as it describes it better but thats against my character so i went for this one, which means "the friendship has ended".

I really liek it, although I think you want to rhyme too much now that you start to lose the meaning a little so you can use the word that rhymes, anyway, good poem all the same, good meaning
